How much does the course cost?+
$399 one-time, or 4 monthly payments of $100 ($400 total). Both plans include the same course content for your selected license. No hidden fees inside the course.
What's included for $399?+
California Law & Business study, your chosen trade classification course, published practice questions, explanations, flashcards, notes, highlights and support by email.
Do you cover my specific classification?+
We show only published courses in the course list. If your classification is not listed there, email us before you buy.
How long do I have access?+
Access terms are shown on the pricing and guarantee pages. Installment-plan access stays active while payments are current.
Can I get a refund?+
Yes. Full refund within 14 days if you've completed less than 25% of the course. Email Support@licensecontractorschool.com and we'll process it within 5 business days.
Are you affiliated with the CSLB?+
No. We're an independent exam-prep school. The California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) issues the actual license. We prepare you to pass their exam.
Is this course enough on its own to pass?+
This is independent exam preparation. It helps you study, but it is not a licensing authority, not official CSLB material, and not a guarantee that you will pass or qualify for a license.
Do you help with the CSLB application itself?+
We include a walkthrough of the application (Form 7065), experience verification (Form 13A-11), fingerprinting, and bond requirements. We don't file the paperwork for you, but we show you exactly what to do.
How is this different from a $50 practice test app?+
Practice questions alone don't teach you the code. Paid courses include lessons, explanations, flashcards and saved review tools for your selected license.
What device do I need?+
Any modern browser on desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. Nothing to install. Your progress, notes, and highlights sync to your account.
